Google.cn will leave China in April

The News site YiCai.com (一财网) announced that Google will close its operations in China on April 10th, according to an unidentified business partner. After that, it is hard to tell which Google services will still be available from China. Apparently Google.cn will stop working as well as their R&D in China but some other services will still exist.

Google is silent

Google has not made any statement about this and the official announcement would be made by the company on Monday. There is still doubt as to whether this information will prove true. Everyone in this industry is waiting for the news. It is important to note that very important sites like Sina.cn and China Daily use Google’s powered search, and these functions could stop working after April 10th.
