Google has just published a SEO Audit (Search Engine Optimization) which analyzes 100 Google product pages, and the results are not as good as expected... it seems Google is not so good at optimizing their own websites (at least, not like seo pros).

Title Tags

Title tags: "html <title>" is one of the most important part of a webpage SEO, well, only 10% of their product pages actually follow "SEO Best practices". Indeed, most of their pages contain only the product name without any keywords or relevant tagline.

Like Baidu (for China), this search engine beat Google on its own country (Google has 21% of market share in Russia).

Google Caffeine : New Ranking algorithm

Google has just release a new project named Caffeine. It will provide a new architecture for its search engine, improve robot crawling and results relevancy.

This evolution means that website's rankings will change. Your positions on search results may increase or decrease in few weeks, according to your search engine optimization.

The China National Network Information Center (CNNIC) has just published their last report about the “Internet development in China” and chinese internet is going well...

Number of Internet Users in China
China stays at the first position with an internet population close to 338 million of people (+13.4% since the end of 2008). The penetration rate is 25,5%, which means that this population is going to grow significantly again probably for the next decade.

Mobile Internet Users
320 million of those users have a broadband access to connect to internet and 155 million connect via their mobile phone (again, china is the country with the most mobile internet users).
